Baby Power or Super Power?

I wonder if a baby knew it had super power would it continue using it for good?
When you announce the joyful news ” I’m pregnant” how often will you be told “Oh your life will never be the same!” There’s continued comments, statements, advice and many Dos and Donts offered to you whether you want them or not.
But sure enough,for each parent, life will never be the same again! It’s not just your life a baby changes or you as a person they change, it’s those unsuspecting on lookers too. Those closest to you, congratulating you and screaming in excitement, they haven’t even realised that this little baby will change them too. Continue reading

Quicky Quiche, leftovers sorted!

My dad started keeping hens this year, to our delight. Four hens, I named them the Kardashians; Kris, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney. The difference between the shop bought and his is nothing less than shocking! We are now cursed with a high standard for eggs. The bar is set, they’re eggcellent! Not a hope I’d make it through without an egg pun. I’m not even sorry!

The Beginning

Always best to say a little bit about yourself when entering a new group, community, world, planet! Well social media and motherhood are a new world to me and both came together in the same year. I’m enjoying both, making plenty of mistakes regularly but succeeding daily too. I was born and raised in County Limerick and did a degree in Intellectual Disability Nursing in The University of Limerick.
